This particular car was sold new to Piero Falorni in Italy who raced with several type of Abarth's.
He also entered this car for the 1971 Targa Florio.
According to a logbook the car was road-registered on 14-09-76 in the name of Semprucci Nello with Siena registration-number SI-169567.
Before that the car had a road-registration from the Torino area: TO - A10593.
The car was sold in the mid 1980's to Peter Kaus for the Rosso Bianco Collection.
He had the car ground-up restored and the restoration started in June 2005.

Today this 1000 SP is completely correct, even the shape of the windscreen is correct, as most 1000 SP's have today replica windscreens that are too flat.
