One of the most important developments in motoring history, the Model T arrived in October 1908, ushering in Ford's one-model policy that would see more than 15 million sold worldwide by the time production ceased in 1927.

Although Henry Ford is quoted as saying "Any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it is black"; model Ts in different colors were produced from 1908 to 1914, and then again from 1926 to 1927.
